I sat down at my desk today to get my Pixelbook hooked up to my 27 inch Dell monitor. After getting all the cables I needed unplugged from my desktop PC and hooked up to theUSB-C dongle I bought for just this reason I turned on the monitor and it was

It looked like not what I thought it was going to look like.

The native resolution of the Pixelbook is 2400 x 1600 but the Dell only registered a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

And no I know why. Because that's the monitor that I bought. A 27 inch 1080 monitor on sale on Prime Day for $150. It seemed like a steal then. And honestly, it still is to me. It's just not what I thought I was getting because I had let this little project tat took all of 10 minutes to do sit for months.

Anyway, once Windows stops updating I'll probably do the whole connect everything and test it again.

I just wanted to come here and talk about how good the keypoard on the Pixelbook feels.

I don't know what kind of switches are it there.
And I don't care.
I don't know how much travel they have.
And I don't care.

The feel of the actual keys are slightly rubber and they ahve such a better feel than the clicky mechanical keys on my Razor keyboard. I might just find a way to push the Pixelbook screen to the monitor and still just the Pixelbook keyboard.

Honestly, I think Google should be making just a blue tooth version of this keyboard. Not the Pixel Slate one but this one because it feels so damned good.
