I keep seeing these ‘iPad Disappointment’ blog posts shared and talked about.
My 2 cents:
If you want the iPad to be a MacBook: you should use a MacBook.
Are there technical limitations that would stop the iPad Pro from running MacOS? I assume not, they come with the same SOC now.

I have both, each for their use own use case, but I do get that some would like for the iPad to less limitations so it would be even more useful, like audio routing. But for now, if you want that, get a MacBook, like you said.

@odd I’m not saying it should be anything one way or the other, just that sometimes the Appleverse just repeats the same blog post. Should the iPad be as “locked down” as it currently is? I don’t think so. I think there should be an iPad that runs MacOS; it’s got the guts to do it. There’s no reason, other than “product segmentation” that Apple can’t do it. Is that a niche thing? You bet ’cha. Does Apple do niche anymore? Not really. Should they? You bet ’cha.

@joelhamill I was about to respond and then read your reply to Odd. And I agree with all the points you made.
